Hearts & Roses

My friend Andrea from college came home to visit.  She is now living in New York. Hannah and I went over to her parent's home in West Linn.  There Kim Millen, Andrea's mom and professional artist and body painter, asked if she could body paint Hannah.  I volunteered my daughter of course and it turned into such a fun afternoon.  Kim was so excited as Hannah was her first infant model. The paint itself is edible and FDA approved Kim said, in case I had any worries about putting paint toxins on my daughters sensitive skin.  Hannah was a champ.  At first she got a bit fussy but I nursed her and soon she was fast asleep in my arms which turned out to be better for Kim doing the painting.  It turned out its more difficult with a moving target. Throughout her nap, Hannah would twitch when the paint brush tickled... it was pretty cute.  We made her area warm with a space heater since I to strip her down to her diaper.  I don't know what she will think of these pictures later, but we had such a great time, Hannah was a great baby model, and Scott got something sweet for Valentines Day!!

An artist's work is never done.... here Kim is putting on some final touches!
